Bidnamic // Recruitment Film

Coolbox partnered with Google Shopping Experts Bidnamic in a period of super high-growth for the Leeds-based business.

Bidnamic had recently opened their first US office, and were keen to bring some superstar online retail gurus into the company.

Our team helped Bidnamic create a fun company culture film, to help give potential applicants a flavour of what it’s like working at one of the fastest growing tech companies in North of England.

LineVision X National Grid

Coolbox were approached by US-based LineVision to help launch their new partnership with National Grid in the UK.

LineVision’s ground breaking Dynamic Line Rating (DLR) technology is being trialled in the UK for the first time. Based on the results from successful implementation in the US, the technology has the potential to unlock 0.6 GW of additional capacity – that’s enough to power more than 500,000 homes 🏠

Bidnamic // The Union Project // Case Study Film

Bidnamic aim to maximise revenue and profitability from Google Shopping with their advanced machine learning and deep human expertise.

Bidnamic’s partnership with The Union Project started in May 2019 and has helped deliver their ongoing success with Google Shopping. Like many retailers, The Union Project was up against big brand retailers who had the upper hand on Google Shopping. The Union Project sells well-known brands such as Carhartt and Stussy – high ticket products which typically take more clicks per sale, so it was important to get consistent visibility at each stage of the customer journey.

University of St Andrews

Coolbox recently created a pair of videos for the School of Earth and Environmental Sciences at the University of St Andrews. The aim of the videos was to promote the department and their courses to potential undergraduate students looking at starting a career in the field.

The School of Earth and Environmental Sciences is a scientific community that studies the Earth and its neighbours in space. The School aims to provide a diverse, inclusive environment which fosters open-minded critical thinking and debate, and is committed to creating a scientifically literate and informed society.


Placemarque are an environmental graphic design company specialising in wayfinding and branding in the built environment. The team work with local authorities, developers and large estates to create spaces that people want to engage with, and develop bespoke wayfinding strategies that encourage visitors to walk a little further and stay a little longer.

Coolbox worked with Placemaque to create a suite of videos for their new website. Filmed over three days, the videos included a brand film, a series of team biography videos and a bonus bloopers reel from their interviews.


Source[Lab] are a consultancy and development agency based in Manchester and Moscow, specialising in the delivery of world-class, user-focussed web and mobile applications.

Coolbox were commissioned by Source[Lab] to produce a short testimonial video for their website, featuring one of their clients Hiring Hub. We spent the day with Simon Swan (Director of Hiring Hub) and his team in central Manchester, and asked him a few questions about his experience working with Source[Lab].

Scottish Salmon Producers Organisation – Community Film:

Coolbox and Jump Marketing have worked together a number times over the past few years to create content for the Scottish Salmon Producers Organisation. This time, SSPO asked us to visit some of the most remote and isolated towns and villages in the far reaches of Scotland to see how the salmon farming positively affects the local communities.

Over the four days we visited scout groups, mountain bikers, ju Jitsu clubs, pipe bands, fish smokeries, swimming teams, food banks, shinty teams, community buses, badminton and hockey teams – all supported by the local salmon farming industry.

University of Leeds // Residence Life In Halls

Here’s a little promotional video we produced for the University of Leeds, to help launch their new Residence Life campaign.

Residence Life at the University of Leeds is all about making the students’ experience in halls the best it can be. Their dedicated Residence Life team organise events when the students first move in and throughout the year to help them settle in and enjoy university!
